Job summary

RTX is seeking a Program Management, Planning and Scheduling professional to join the Planning & Activation organization in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role develops and maintains the Program Master Phasing Schedule and Integrated Master Schedule to support near-term execution and long-range planning.

You'll lead complex IMS development, perform advanced schedule analytics, support EAC/LRE processes, and ensure compliance with EVMS and DFARS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• 8+ years of Program Planning, Scheduling, or Program Management experience (or 5+ years with Advanced Degree).
• Experience with MS Project, Primavera, Open Plan, Project Server, or similar scheduling systems.
• Experience with Integrated Master Schedules and advanced schedule analytics (critical path, logic integration, workflow).
• Experience with EVMS or equivalent performance management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, and governance of complex IMSs in MS Project, ensuring alignment with scope, requirements, and best practices.
• Oversee resource-loaded schedules and ensure integration across cost, schedule, and baselines, including advanced network logic and workflows.
• Develop, communicate, and maintain Program Master Phasing Schedules and planning artifacts for near-term execution and long-range planning.
• Perform and lead advanced schedule analysis: critical path, risk integration, health assessments, variance analysis, trend interpretation.
• Support EAC and LRE processes, ensuring schedule accuracy and alignment to program financial performance.
• Lead preparation and delivery of schedule review packages for leadership and customer engagements, including formal CDRL submissions.
• Advise on schedule status, impacts, risks, and 'what-if' acceleration scenarios to Program Managers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with scheduling policies, EVMS/DFARS requirements, and baseline integrity; serve as SME for audits.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, contracts, and finance to establish a credible PMB.
• Provide mentorship and technical oversight for junior planners and improve planning processes.
