Job summary

JLL is seeking an accomplished Scheduler to support scheduling operations for mission-critical projects and facilities. You will develop and maintain detailed project schedules, conduct schedule analysis, and coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery of capital projects and facility improvements.

The role requires strong proficiency in Primavera P6, CPM scheduling, and the ability to communicate schedules to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
• 5-8 years of direct relevant experience in construction scheduling or project controls roles.
• Strong proficiency in scheduling software including Primavera P6 (P6 EPPM or P6 Professional).
• Solid understanding of critical path method (CPM) scheduling principles and techniques.
• Experience developing and maintaining schedules for capital construction projects valued at $500M-$5B.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for assigned capital projects.
• Establish WBS and activity codes aligned with project requirements.
• Define durations, logic, constraints, and dependencies with input from teams.
• Incorporate procurement milestones and long-lead items into schedules.
• Create baseline schedules and maintain version control.
• Update schedules based on actual progress and scope changes.
• Develop look-ahead schedules for short-term planning.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple contractors for schedule integration.
• Conduct critical path and float analyses to identify risks.
• Monitor schedule performance and forecast completion dates.
• Prepare schedule status reports and visual presentations.
• Communicate schedule status and issues to project managers and teams.
• Coordinate with cost management for integrated reporting.
• Prepare narratives explaining variances and recommended actions.
• Escalate significant risks to project management.
