Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced SCADA and Automation Engineer – Lead Professional for our Boise ID office. You will lead design, engineering, and commissioning of utility, industrial and commercial power projects, including substations, protection and control systems, and data transfer schemes.

Expect responsibilities to include guiding project teams, testing at project sites, and ensuring compliance with IEEE, IEC, ANSI, and NERC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7–10 years of post-education experience in electrical design for power projects.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to project needs.
• Ability to comply with safety policies and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and commissioning for utility, industrial and commercial power projects.
• Develop data transfer schemes and HMI screens for SCADA systems.
• Guide project teams and resolve complex technical challenges.
