Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced SCADA and Automation Engineer – Lead Professional for our Boise ID office, with consideration for other U.S. offices.

You will lead design, testing, and commissioning of transmission and distribution systems, SCADA networks, and protection schemes across multiple sites. The role requires 7–10 years of post‑graduate experience, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and a readiness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 7–10 years of post-education electrical engineering design experience.
• Ability to travel occasionally and adapt to project needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for design, engineering, and commissioning of power projects.
• Develop protection, control schemes, and data transfer for SCADA systems.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure code compliance and safety standards.
• Prepare data transfer points, HMIs, and network configurations for substations.
