Job summary

Blue Origin Vision is seeking a Senior Satellite Structural Analyst to support design, analysis, verification and test for constellation-scale spacecraft. You will work with structures, systems engineering, manufacturing, AIT and test teams to assess performance and mature hardware from concept to flight readiness.

The role requires 7+ years in aerospace structural analysis, strong FEM skills (NASTRAN/ANSYS/Abaqus), and experience with launch environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in structural analysis for aerospace applications.
• Experience with spacecraft structural design and launch-vehicle environments.
• Proficiency with FEM tools NASTRAN, ANSYS or Abaqus.

Responsibilities

• Support structural analysis and verification of spacecraft structures and interfaces across design, qualification, and flight-readiness.
• Plan and execute structural-analysis work packages from requirements to margins and testing.
• Develop design criteria, load cases, and analysis assumptions for hardware and interfaces.
• Correlate analytical models to test data and update verification evidence as required.
• Collaborate with mechanical design, systems engineering, manufacturing, AIT and test teams to optimize structures.
