Blue Origin seeks a seasoned structural design engineer to own the development of primary and secondary structures for advanced space hardware. You will perform design, analysis, fabrication support, and testing across flight hardware, ensuring full life-cycle ownership from concept to production.

The role emphasizes collaboration with manufacturing and multi-functional teams to meet aggressive program goals.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years in structural design & analysis of aerospace/launch vehicle structures
• Strong CAD design and integration skills with Creo/CATIA/SolidWorks/AutoDesk

Responsibilities

• Design, analysis, development, and testing of primary and secondary structures
• Develop CAD models, drawings, and interface control documents
• Lead root cause analyses for moderate-scope issues during critical build phases
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure quality and manufacturability
• Manage multiple projects with attention to schedule and budget
