Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Satellite Structural Analyst to advance spacecraft structures for the TeraWave constellation. You will perform design verification, margins analysis, and test correlation to ensure flight-readiness.

The role requires a strong background in aerospace structural analysis, FEA tools (NASTRAN/ANSYS/Abaqus), and experience with vibration and load environments. Collaboration with mechanical design, AIT, and test teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of structural analysis experience in aerospace.
• Experience with spacecraft structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency with FEA software (NASTRAN/ANSYS/Abaqus).
• Ability to communicate results to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support structural analysis and verification of spacecraft structures throughout design and flight-readiness.
• Plan and execute structural-analysis work packages; define load cases and margins.
• Develop and maintain structural requirements, ICDs, and interface loads docs.
• Perform finite element analysis and develop detailed FEMs for subsystems and full spacecraft.
• Correlate analytical models to test data and update margins and verification evidence.
• Collaborate with mechanical design, systems engineering, manufacturing, and test teams.
