Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Satellite Structural Analyst in a multi-site role (Denver, CO; Greater Seattle Area; Los Angeles, CA). You will perform structural analysis for the TeraWave spacecraft, develop FEA models, and verify margins of safety across launch, test, and flight environments.

The role requires strong experience with aerospace structures, FEA tools (NASTRAN/ANSYS/Abaqus), and collaboration with design, manufacturing, and test teams to mature hardware from concept to flight

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of aerospace structural analysis experience.
• Experience with spacecraft structural design and analysis.
• Proficiency with NASTRAN, ANSYS, or Abaqus.
• Strong knowledge of structural dynamics and modal testing.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spacecraft structures, margins of safety, and test results.
• Develop and validate finite element models of satellites.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs.
• Support test planning, data review, and model correlation.
