Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an engineering professional to support SATCOM activities and systems engineering across a 24/7 operations environment. You will operate and maintain complex software and hardware systems, document anomalies, and collaborate with teammates on corrective actions.

The role requires STEM education, 2+ years of engineering experience, and an active TS/SCI CI poly clearance. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and able to work rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
• Experience in SATCOM, IT Systems and/or RF test equipment.
• Experience assigning tasks to meet technical objectives.
• Experience in problem solving in time-critical situations.
• Experience in delivering presentations.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government security clearance required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Troubleshooting methodologies for diagnosing system problems.
• Experience training a wide range of learning techniques and styles.

Responsibilities

• Support satellite communication (SATCOM) activities and enterprise-wide systems engineering.
• Operate and maintain complex software and hardware systems.
• Report and document anomalous performance.
• Interact with team members to perform corrective actions.
• Crosstrain in other assigned areas.
• Assist with training other personnel on the contract team.
• Support test and/or operational activities as necessary.
• Participate in a 24/7 operations environment with rotating day/night shifts.
