Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Hardware Engineering) to support SATCOM O&M and ground systems engineering from its Alexandria, VA site. The role involves real-time fault isolation, system restoration, and cross-functional collaboration to validate operational performance.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with 5+ years of engineering experience, hands-on IT and SATCOM test equipment knowledge, and an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science/Engineering (STEM) and 5+ years engineering experience.
• Experience in SATCOM operations, sustainment, or theory.
• Experience with IT systems and SATCOM test equipment.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct system fault isolation and real-time restoration; resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate performance.
