Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - RF SATCOM to join a team handling planned and ad hoc hardware and system tasks for customized applications. You will perform system analysis, testing/integration, and discrepancy resolution to support a 24x7 mission, with a flexible schedule and after-hours support.

The role requires a STEM degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus knowledge of SATCOM antennas, RF hardware, and real-time networks.

Qualifications

• STEM degree and minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience with SATCOM antennas and RF transmit/receive hardware.
• Experience with high-speed IT networks and real-time software.
• Adheres to safety, security and administrative policies.
• Active TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Provide O&M support for complex RF SATCOM hardware-software systems.
• Perform discrepancy analysis, testing, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with factories on development, installation, and test configurations.
• Develop maintenance and recovery procedures; train other personnel as needed.
• Prepare briefs and reports on system performance and issues.
