Job summary

FGS, LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer for US-based SATCOM and secure communications programs. The role requires TS/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and a Bachelor's in Systems Engineering or related field.

Travel and OCONUS assignment are anticipated. The successful candidate will plan, design, and implement wide-area communications systems, configure networks, and support FDMA/TDMA/SATCOM networks, with emphasis on COTS assets and rigorous change management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in military communications systems engineering.
• Experience with FDMA, TDMA, SATCOM, COTS systems; no explicit certification required.
• Current passport and willingness to travel and work OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in configuring networks, monitoring systems, activating remote terminals, and resolving SATCOM incidents.
• Submit and analyze Satellite Access via the Joint Integrated SATCOM Tool.
• Develop engineering diagrams and manage engineering changes for systems using COTS assets and various networking equipment.
