Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior systems engineer to maintain performance, analyze system dynamics, and lead DevOps-driven initiatives. You will provide expert problem resolution, coordinate cross-site maintenance, and develop tools and training materials for rapid operational support.

Required: STEM degree with 8+ years in engineering, experience with coding/scripting, and TS/SCI clearance. Expect on-site duties in Colorado with occasional travel for extended PCS/TDY assignments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM preferred).
• Minimum of 8 years of engineering experience or equivalent.
• Experience with coding and scripting fundamentals.
• Experience with Agile and DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and maintain system performance requirements.
• Provide system problem and anomaly resolution support.
• Perform data trending and performance analysis.
• Support system maintenance activities and specialized engineering projects.
• Coordinate and execute system maintenance tasks.
• Develop and maintain operational tools and training materials.
• Deliver trainings and lectures on fundamentals and processes.
• Provide shared on-call support, including nights, weekends, holidays, and shifts.
• Coordinate across multiple sites, contractors, customers, and external partners.
