Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Utilities consultant to lead strategic engagements in energy retail and customer service, driving digital transformation and improved customer experiences. You will collaborate with C-suite stakeholders, design transformative programs, and guide project teams through delivery and change management.

The role requires 3+ years in utilities, SAP experience, and willingness to travel; base location is flexible across major US cities near Accenture offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Utility Industry, Customer Service project delivery / Customer Transformation project delivery.
• Experience delivering customer transformation projects and advising clients on utility-specific processes.
• Familiarity with Meter to Cash operations and CIS implementations.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
• Willingness to travel 25%–100% as required by engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting engagements in energy retail and customer service, focusing on digital transformation and operational efficiencies.
• Serve as primary client contact for senior executives, building trusted advisory relationships.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve client performance, drive revenue growth, and support customer-centric transformation.
• Manage project teams, guiding junior members and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Lead business development activities by identifying opportunities, crafting proposals, and representing the Utilities practice in sales pursuits.
• Contribute to thought leadership and stay current on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Mentor team members and foster a high-performance work environment.
