Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of FI-CA solutions for utility clients. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U/Utilities experience, including FI-CA, with 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience designing and delivering FI-CA solutions across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, financial integration, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading Finance and business workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, design governance, functional design, testing, defect resolution, cutover, and operational readiness.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Own FI-CA workstream from requirements through deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, and controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, solution workshops, and design reviews.
• Drive integration and reconciliation design across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banks and payment providers, tax solutions, and FI/CO GL.
• Establish and govern FI-CA financial controls and posting/reconciliation processes.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies and ensure alignment across end-to-end utility processes.
• Develop functional specifications, solution documentation, configuration standards, and design decisions.
• Coach FI-CA functional consultants and coordinate technical/integration partners.
• Oversee end-to-end testing and defect resolution for payments, postings, period close, reconciliations, and high-volume FI-CA processing.
• Manage scope, estimates, dependencies, risks, defect priorities, and stakeholder decisions.
• Lead cutover and production readiness activities, including open-item/balance reconciliation and training.
• Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders and guide FI-CA capabilities and transformation priorities.
