Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end FI-CA design and delivery for utility clients. You will own the FI-CA workstream, align receivables and payment operations with policy and accounting requirements, and drive integration across the broader SAP IS-U solution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA focus.
• Experience owning FI-CA design and delivery through implementation and stabilization.
• Proven ability to lead functional workshops, requirements gathering, and design governance.
• Experience across FI-CA integration with billing, banking, tax, and GL systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U FI-CA workstream, scope, delivery plans, and outcomes.
• Define functional design for receivables, payments, collections, and controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, and design reviews.
• Drive integration across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO GL.
• Establish FI-CA controls, posting, reconciliation, and audit readiness.
• Coach FI-CA consultants and coordinate with cross-workstream partners.
• Oversee end-to-end testing, defect resolution, and cutover activities.
• Manage stakeholder decisions, risks, and project escalations.
• Build client relationships and provide functional guidance on FI-CA capabilities.
