Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of FI-CA solutions for utilities. You will own the FI-CA workstream, define functional approaches, and align receivables with business policies and accounting rules across SAP IS-U.

You will lead functional teams, coordinate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Care, and drive solution quality, testing, and go-live readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Proven experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience delivering FI-CA across payments, receivables, clearing, collections, dunning, refunds, deposits, write-offs, financial integration, and reconciliation.
• Experience leading Finance and business workshops, requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, and design governance.
• Experience governing cross-functional integrations and reconciliation across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO GL.
• Travel willingness to meet client needs; travel estimated 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Own the FI-CA workstream scope, delivery plans, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define functional design for receivables, payments, clearing, collections, dunning, and controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analyses, and design workshops.
• Drive integration and reconciliation design with SAP IS-U Billing, Banking, and FI/CO.
• Establish FI-CA financial controls and posting/reconciliation processes.
• Manage cross-workstream dependencies across Billing, Finance, and Data Conversion.
• Develop functional specifications, configuration standards, and design decisions.
• Coach FI-CA consultants and coordinate technical/integration partners.
• Oversee end-to-end testing and defect resolution for FI-CA processes.
• Lead cutover, training, and production readiness activities.
• Build trusted client relationships and guide transformation priorities.
