Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Functional Manager to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of FI-CA solutions for utilities clients. You will own the FI-CA workstream, define the functional approach, and ensure alignment with business policies and accounting requirements.

You will supervise functional teams, collaborate with Finance, Revenue Operations, and Customer Care to drive quality, testing, deployment, and operational readiness, and you will manage cross‑workstream priorities and risk.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree.
• 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with 3+ years leading a functional workstream.
• Experience owning SAP IS-U FI-CA functional solution design and delivery through implementation, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Experience leading Finance and business workshops, requirements gathering, design governance, and testing.
• Experience governing cross-functional integrations across SAP IS-U Billing, Customer Service, financial systems.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Own the FI-CA workstream end-to-end from requirements to post-go-live.
• Define functional design for receivables, payments, and related controls.
• Lead requirements, fit-gap, and design reviews.
• Drive integration and reconciliation design with SAP IS-U modules and banks.
• Establish FI-CA financial controls and auditability.
• Coordinate cross-workstream dependencies and manage risks.
• Develop functional specs and configuration standards.
• Coach FI-CA consultants and resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Oversee testing and defect resolution for FI-CA processing.
• Lead cutover and production readiness activities.
• Build client relationships and provide functional guidance.
