Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration for utility receivables, payments, and financial processing in FI-CA. You will work with stakeholders, technical teams, and connected workstreams to ensure accurate processing across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams to resolve end-to-end issues and provide production support. Travel up to 40–60% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, and FI-CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI-CA integration with SAP IS-U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, including reconciliation.
• Experience preparing functional specs, test scenarios, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, master data, and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing interfaces and bank statement/file interfaces.
• Configure collections, dunning, and installment plans within FI-CA.
• Support FI-CA events and BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with General Ledger, billing, and tax impacts.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, tests, and process flows.
• Execute testing and support UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and guidance to business users.
