Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing in SAP FI-CA. You’ll work with business stakeholders and technical teams across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, FI/CO, and banking partners, providing functional guidance, testing, and production support. Travel is expected 40-60% across US client projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on FI-CA.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or design, testing, and production support in utilities.
• Hands-on experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning and FI-CA account determination.
• Understanding FI-CA integration with IS-U Billing and FI/CO GL, including reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, business-partner relationships, and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, bank interfaces, and cash desk flows.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, and installment plans.
• Support FI-CA events, BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with General Ledger and period-end processing.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support UAT and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and knowledge transfer.
