Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing in SAP FI-CA. You will work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and connected workstreams across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will analyze FI-CA integration with General Ledger, reconciliation, and period-end processing while preparing functional designs and project deliverables. Travel up to 40-60% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design in utilities.
• Experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, and FI-CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI-CA integration with SAP IS-U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, incl. reconciliation.
• Experience preparing functional specs, config docs, test scenarios.
• Experience unit/integration testing and production support.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, business-partner relations, main/subtransactions, account determination and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, payment lots, bank interfaces, cash-desk flows and reversals.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, installment plans and write-offs.
• Support FI-CA events and BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with General Ledger and billing impacts.
• Prepare functional designs, config docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Execute tests and support UAT, regression testing and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, CS, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams.
