EY is seeking an SAP IS‑U FI‑CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands‑on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, and financial processing in FI‑CA. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross‑workstreams to ensure accurate processing across the meter‑to‑cash lifecycle.

The role requires strong SAP FI‑CA knowledge, experience with billing interfaces, and a willingness to travel up to 60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience with hands‑on FI‑CA.
• Hands‑on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open‑item management, and FI‑CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI‑CA integration with SAP IS‑U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, including reconciliation and period‑end considerations.

Responsabilités

• Configure FI‑CA contract accounts, business‑partner relationships, main and subtransactions, account determination, posting controls, and open‑item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, payment lots, bank interfaces, cash flows, payment allocation, returns, refunds, and reversals as applicable.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, installment plans, promise‑to‑pay, security deposits, write‑offs, and other receivables processes.
• Support FI‑CA events and BRF+ rules for process control, automation, and exception handling.
• Analyze FI‑CA integration with General Ledger, reconciliation, period‑end processing, and impacts to billing, tax, and customer service.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration documentation, test cases, process flows, and other project deliverables.
• Execute unit and integration testing and support UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and close‑cycle validation.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking partners, collection agencies, and FI/CO teams to resolve end‑to‑end defects.
• Provide production support, root‑cause analysis, reconciliation assistance, and guidance to business users and technical teams.
• Communicate requirements and support timely decision making with client stakeholders and project leadership.
