Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing in SAP IS-U FI-CA. You will work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and connected workstreams to ensure accurate processing across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

Located anywhere in the country, this role involves collaboration with Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO teams, with travel estimated at 40-60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in utilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, BPs, and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, bank interfaces, and cash desk flows.
• Configure dunning, collections, installment plans, and write-offs.
• Support FI-CA events or BRF+ for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with GL, billing, and tax impacts.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and processes.
• Perform unit/integration tests and support UAT and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and guidance to teams.
• Communicate requirements and decisions with stakeholders and leadership.
