Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing in SAP FI-CA. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-functional streams to ensure accurate processing across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and SAP IS-U FI-CA hands-on experience.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or design, testing and production support in utilities.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, business-partner relationships, and item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, bank interfaces, cash desk flows, and refunds.
• Configure dunning, collections, and open-item management within FI-CA.
• Support FI-CA events or BRF+ for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with GL, billing, tax, and customer-service transactions.
• Prepare functional designs, config docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Lead unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail, banking partners, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and guidance to users and teams.
• Communicate requirements clearly to stakeholders and support timely decisions.
• Mentor junior team members and transfer knowledge to client teams.
