Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands‑on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, and financial processing in SAP FI‑CA. You will work with stakeholders, technical teams, and related workstreams to ensure accurate processing across the meter‑to‑cash lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include configuring FI‑CA accounts, payment processing, dunning, and interface testing, with substantial collaboration across Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO teams.

Qualifications

• Strong functional knowledge of SAP IS‑U FI‑CA and the broader utility meter‑to‑cash process.
• Hands‑on knowledge of payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open‑item management, and FI‑CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI‑CA integration with SAP IS‑U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, including reconciliation and period‑end considerations.

Responsibilities

• Configuring FI‑CA contract accounts, business‑partner relationships, main and subtransactions.
• Designing and testing payment processing, interfaces, and cash desk flows.
• Configuring clearing strategies, dunning, collections, and installment plans.
• Supporting FI‑CA events, BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyzing FI‑CA integration with GL, reconciliation, and period‑end impacts.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT and defect resolution.
• Collaborating with Billing, Customer Service, and FI/CO teams to resolve issues.
