Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, and financial processing across the meter-to-cash lifecycle. You will work with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate processing, reconciliation, and compliant financial operations.

Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of SAP IS-U/Utilities experience, hands-on FI-CA expertise, and the ability to translate requirements into practical designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on FI-CA.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in utilities.
• Experience with FI-CA integration with IS-U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, reconciliation, and period-end considerations.
• Ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into SAP IS-U FI-CA designs.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40-60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Configuring and supporting FI-CA contract accounts, business-partner relationships, and posting controls.
• Designing and testing payment processing, bank interfaces, and payment allocation.
• Configuring dunning, collections, installment plans, and write-offs for receivables.
• Supporting FI-CA events or BRF+ for process control and automation.
• Analyzing FI-CA integration with General Ledger and impacts to billing, tax, and customer-service transactions.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Collaborating with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams.
• Providing production support, root-cause analysis, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
