Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands‑on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections and financial processing in SAP IS‑U FI‑CA. You will work with stakeholders, technical teams, and cross‑functional workstreams across the meter‑to‑cash lifecycle.

Role requires 3–4 years SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience with FI‑CA, plus hands‑on delivery of functional specs, configuration, testing, and production support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in utilities.
• Understanding FI-CA integration with Billing and General Ledger, including reconciliation.
• Willingness to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, business partners, main and subtransactions, and posting controls.
• Design and test payment processing, interfaces, cash desks, and allocations.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, and open-item processing.
• Support FI-CA events, BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with GL, billing, tax, and customer services.
• Prepare functional designs, configurations, test cases, and process flows.
• Execute unit and integration testing, support UAT, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, reconciliation assistance, and guidance to users.
• Communicate requirements and decisions with client stakeholders and project leadership.
• Mentor client teams and junior staff through knowledge transfer.
