Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing within FI-CA. You will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and cross-workstream partners to ensure accurate processing and reconciliation across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including FI-CA.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration, testing and production support.
• Experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, and FI-CA account determination.
• FI-CA integration with IS-U Billing and FI/CO GL understanding.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts, business-partner relations, and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, banks interfaces, cash desks, and refunds.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, and installment plans.
• Support FI-CA events and BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with GL, billing, and customer-service transactions.
• Prepare functional designs, configs, test cases, and process flows.
• Execute tests and support UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams to resolve defects.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis, and guidance to users and teams.
• Communicate issues clearly to stakeholders and provide knowledge transfer.
