Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, and collections within FI-CA. You will work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and connected workstreams to ensure accurate processing across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will configure contract accounts, payment interfaces, dunning and collections, support BRF+ rules, and coordinate testing and production support while traveling 40-60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with FI-CA.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration, testing and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open-item management, and FI-CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI-CA integration with IS-U Billing and FI/CO, including reconciliation and period-end considerations.
• Ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into SAP FI-CA designs.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsibilities

• Configure FI‑CA contract accounts, BP relationships, main/subtransactions, account determination and open-item processing.
• Design and test payment processing, payment lots, interfaces, cash-desk flows and payments allocation.
• Configure clearing strategies, dunning, collections, installment plans and write-offs.
• Support FI‑CA events and BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyze FI‑CA integration with GL, reconciliation, period-end processing and impacts to billing, tax and customer service.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test cases and process flows.
• Execute unit/integration testing and support UAT, regression testing and defect resolution.
• Coordinate with Billing, CS, Retail Choice, banking partners and FI/CO teams to resolve end-to-end issues.
• Provide production support, root-cause analysis and guidance to business users and technical teams.
• Communicate requirements and issues to client stakeholders and project leadership.
