Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration and support for utility receivables, payments, collections, and financial processing in SAP FI-CA. You’ll work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other workstreams to ensure accurate processing across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

The role requires strong SAP FI-CA knowledge, experience with IS-U integration, and willingness to travel 40-60%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience with FI‑CA.
• Hands‑on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Hands‑on experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open‑item management, and FI‑CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI‑CA integration with SAP IS‑U Billing and FI/CO GL, including reconciliation and period‑end considerations.
• Experience coordinating with business users, technical teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI‑CA contract accounts and main/subtransactions.
• Design and test payment processing, bank interfaces, and payment allocation.
• Configure dunning, installments, and other receivables processes.
• Support FI‑CA events, BRF+ rules, and process control.
• Analyze FI‑CA integration with GL, billing, tax and customer service.
• Prepare functional designs, config docs, test cases, and deliverables.
