Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U FI-CA Senior Consultant to deliver hands-on configuration for utility receivables, payments, and collections in SAP FI-CA. You will work with stakeholders across finance and tech teams to ensure accurate processing and reconciliations within the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You'll design and test FI-CA solutions, support interfaces, and contribute to project delivery while traveling up to 60% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience including FI-CA hands-on work.
• Experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Hands-on experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open-item management, and FI-CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI-CA integration with SAP IS-U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, including reconciliation and period-end considerations.
• Experience preparing functional specs, configuration docs, test scenarios, process flows, and other project documents.
• Experience executing unit/integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, close-cycle validation, cutover, and production stabilization.
• Ability to collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support FI-CA contract accounts and related processes.
• Design and test payment processing, payment lots, bank interfaces, and cash-desk flows.
• Configure collections, dunning, and installmente plans.
• Support FI-CA events or BRF+ for process automation.
• Analyze FI-CA integration with General Ledger, billing, and customer-service transactions.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, and test cases.
• Execute testing and support UAT, regression, and production stabilization.
• Collaborate with Billing, Customer Service, Retail Choice, and FI/CO teams to resolve issues.
• Provide production support and knowledge transfer to client teams.
