Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Typically, no less than 3–4 years of SAP IS‑U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands‑on experience with SAP IS‑U FI‑CA.
• Hands‑on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Hands‑on experience with payment processing, clearing, collections, dunning, open‑item management, and FI‑CA account determination.
• Understanding of FI‑CA integration with SAP IS‑U Billing and FI/CO General Ledger, including reconciliation and period‑end considerations.
• Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel is estimated at 40-60%.
• Experience with FI‑CA events or BRF+ for process control, automation, or exception handling.

Responsibilities

• Configuring FI‑CA contract accounts, business‑partner relationships, and open‑item processing.
• Designing and testing payment processing interfaces, cash‑desk flows, and payment allocations.
• Configuring clearing strategies, dunning, installments, and other receivables processes.
• Supporting FI‑CA events and BRF+ rules for process control and automation.
• Analyzing FI‑CA integration with GL, billing, tax, and customer‑service transactions.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration docs, test cases, and process flows.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, and defect resolution.
• Collaborating with Billing, CS, Retail Choice, banking partners, and FI/CO teams to resolve end‑to‑end defects.
• Providing production support, root‑cause analysis, and knowledge transfer to client teams.
