Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions. You will translate utility requirements into functional designs that support customer, account, contract, and service processes across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, incl. at least 3 years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer-service processes.
• Experience supporting utility customer-lifecycle processes, including account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, and start/stop service.
• Understanding meter-to-cash processes and the dependencies among Customer Service, Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, and connected systems.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, configuration docs, test scenarios, data mappings, and cutover readiness.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Flexibility to travel 40-60%.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, moves, transfers, and related customer processes.
• Configuring SAP IS-U Customer Service solutions including business partner, contract account, utility contract, and customer master data.
• Designing and supporting service-requests, notifications, correspondence and customer-contacts in SAP IS-U.
• Translating service-operation requirements into SAP IS-U functional designs across workflows.
• Coordinating end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, and other systems.
• Analyzing exceptions affecting activation, account changes, billing readiness, and data integrity.
• Documenting business requirements and end-to-end process flows for self-service channels.
• Preparing design docs, test cases, data mappings, and project deliverables.
• Supporting UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and production issue analysis.
• Data conversion activities: mapping, validation, reconciliation, and cutover readiness.
