Job summary

EY seeks an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions for utility clients across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will translate business requirements into functional designs, document specifications, support testing, data conversion, cutover activities, and collaborate with client teams to deliver end-to-end processes for customer and contract data in SAP IS-U.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least 3 years in SAP IS-U Customer Service.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise, service connection, and customer-service processes.
• Experience supporting utility customer-lifecycle processes, including account maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, and start and stop service.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for customer maintenance, service requests, move-in/move-out, transfers, and related customer processes.
• Configure SAP IS-U Customer Service components including business partner, contract account, utility contract, and customer-service concepts.
• Design and support service-request, notification, and customer-contact processes integrated with SAP IS-U.
• Translate service-operation requirements into end-to-end workflows for customer data and service processes.
• Coordinate cross-workstream impacts with Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, and field service teams.
• Prepare functional specs, configuration docs, test scenarios, and data mappings.
• Support unit/integration testing, UAT, regression testing, and production issue analysis.
• Assist data conversion, cutover readiness, and post-go-live stabilization.
