Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an SAP IS-U Customer Service Senior Consultant to support design, configuration, testing, and implementation of customer-facing SAP IS-U solutions across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate utility service-operation requirements into functional SAP IS-U designs, shaping customer, account, contract, and premise processes. Travel is expected 40–60% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U/Utilities experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or design in a utility environment.
• Experience with SAP IS-U customer, business partner, contract account, premise, and related processes.
• Travel up to 40–60%.
• Ability to translate requirements into functional designs.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for customer and account maintenance, service requests, move-in/out, transfers, and start/stop service.
• Configure SAP IS-U Customer Service including business partner, contract account, utility contract, premise and related data.
• Design service-request, notification, correspondence, and customer-contact workflows.
• Translate service-operations requirements into SAP IS-U functional designs.
• Coordinate end-to-end process impacts across Billing, FI-CA, Device Management, Work Management, and more.
• Analyze exceptions and support data-related fixes across systems.
• Prepare functional designs, configuration docs, test scenarios, and data mappings.
• Execute unit and integration testing; support UAT and defect resolution.
• Support data conversion activities and cutover readiness.
• Provide knowledge transfer and documented guidance to client teams.
