Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Functional Manager to lead end-to-end design and delivery of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients.

You will own the Billing workstream, define functional design, translate rate and regulatory requirements into scalable solutions, and guide cross-functional teams through design, test, and go-live. Travel 40–60% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Typically 4–6 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• 3+ years leading a functional workstream or team.
• Experience with time-of-use and/or interval-based billing and EDM integration.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing workstream through design, delivery, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Define the target functional design for Billing and Invoicing, including rates, tariffs, and billing controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap assessments, and design governance for scalable SAP IS-U solutions.
• Drive end-to-end integration across Billing and related SAP IS-U capabilities (EDM, FI-CA, Device Management).
• Lead the design and delivery of complex billing scenarios, including time-of-use and interval-based billing.
