EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test, and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for US utilities. You will translate billing requirements into functional designs and work with business stakeholders to ensure accurate, timely customer bills across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

The role involves travel (40–60%), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering end-to-end billing solutions in a dynamic consulting environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including at least 3 years with SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing.
• Hands-on experience delivering functional requirements, configuration or solution design, testing, and production support in a utility environment.
• Experience configuring SAP IS-U billing schemas, rates, facts, operands, billing master data, billing orders, invoicing, and billing-cycle processes.
• Experience supporting periodic and non-periodic billing, rebilling, reversals, adjustments, billing exceptions, and bill simulation.
• Understanding of meter-to-cash processes and dependencies among Billing, Device Management, Energy Data Management, FI-CA, Customer Service, and connected systems.
• Experience preparing functional specs, configuration docs, test scenarios, process flows, and other project docs.
• Experience executing unit/integration testing and supporting UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, cutover, and production stabilization.
• Experience working with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to resolve functional and cross-workstream issues.
• Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Willingness to travel 40–60%.

Responsabilidades

• Gathering and analyzing billing requirements across electric, gas, and/or water utilities.
• Configuring and supporting billing, invoicing, and billing-cycle processes.
• Configuring and validating invoicing, payment handoffs, and downstream postings with FI-CA.
• Analyzing billing exceptions and root causes related to meter reads, rates, and data.
• Preparing functional designs, configuration docs, and test scenarios.
• Executing unit and integration testing and supporting UAT and defect resolution.
• Coordinating impacts across Device Management, Energy Data Management, FI-CA, and Customer Service teams.
• Providing knowledge transfer and guidance to client teams.
