Job summary

EY is seeking an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to support design, configuration, testing, and implementation of SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions. You will translate utility billing requirements into functional designs and work with stakeholders across the meter-to-cash lifecycle.

This role requires strong SAP IS-U knowledge, utility industry experience, and the ability to travel 40–60% to meet client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Typically 3–4 years SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience, including hands-on Billing and Invoicing.
• Experience delivering functional specs, config, testing, and production support in utilities.
• Ability to translate requirements into SAP IS-U designs and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze billing and invoicing requirements across utility services.
• Configure SAP IS-U billing schemas, rates, master data, and invoicing processes.
• Support billing-cycle readiness, testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve cross-workstream issues.
• Provide knowledge transfer and guidance to client teams and junior staff.
