Job summary

EY in the United States seeks an SAP IS-U Billing Senior Consultant to design, configure, test and implement SAP IS-U Billing and Invoicing solutions for utility clients. You will translate billing requirements into functional designs and support end-to-end meter-to-cash processes, with travel as needed.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams, prepare design docs and test scenarios, and guide junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Typically 3–4 years of SAP IS-U or SAP Utilities experience with hands-on IS-U Billing.
• Experience delivering requirements, configuration or design, testing and production support in utilities.
• Experience with meter-to-cash processes and cross-workstream coordination.
• Strong collaboration with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and analyzing billing requirements across electric, gas and water utilities.
• Configuring billing schemas, rates, master data, invoicing and billing-cycle processes.
• Supporting billing, rebilling, reversals, and bill simulation; resolving exceptions.
• Preparing functional specs, configs, test scenarios and process flows.
• Executing tests and supporting user acceptance testing and defect resolution.
• Coordinating dependencies across multiple teams and communicating issues clearly.
• Providing knowledge transfer and guidance to client teams and junior staff.
