Job summary

Second Harvest of Silicon Valley is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join IT-CRM. This role enhances Salesforce and other business system applications to support efficient processes, improve productivity, and align IT solutions with organizational strategic goals.

In this role, you will serve as a bridge between Salesforce administrators and business teams, translating needs into actionable technical solutions to support our Salesforce CRM solution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst, IT Business Analyst, Product Manager, Manager of Business Applications or related roles.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Administrators or the ability to acquire this certification within first 90 days strongly preferred.
• ERP experience preferred.
• 3-5 years’ practical experience leading/managing complex technology projects across multiple functional areas.
• Subject matter expertise in one or more additional business process areas preferred: CRM, Sales Ops, Financial Reporting, etc.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with business team liaisons, IT resources, and stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and document analysis to gather detailed requirements for new systems or enhancements.
• Design solutions with developers, validate feasibility, and ensure scalability.
• Develop timelines, define project scope, and estimate resources for implementation.
• Collaborate with business teams and developers during the implementation phase.
• Conduct system testing (functional, regression, UAT) to ensure quality.
• Act as liaison between IT and business units, supporting end-users and training.
• Develop reports and dashboards with data teams to support decision-making.
• Stay updated on trends and lead process-improvement initiatives.
• Define acceptance criteria and lead UAT sessions.
• Coordinate product releases and post-launch support.
