Cardinal Health is seeking an experienced Application Development & Maintenance architect to lead Salesforce-based multi-cloud implementations, integrating Sales, Service, and Marketing Clouds with Data Cloud. You will design scalable architectures, oversee data ingestion, segmentation, and real-time personalization, and guide onshore/offshore teams.

The role emphasizes strong technical leadership, enterprise alignment, and adherence to design controls.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of Salesforce ecosystem experience (Architect/Senior Engineer).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with SFMC—Journey Builder, Automation Studio, AMPScript, Contact Builder.
• Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud/Data 360—ingestion, mapping, unification, activation.
• Cross-Cloud integrations bridging SFMC with Sales/Service Clouds.
• SQL, data flow design, and complex audience segmentation.
• Familiarity with Salesforce development (Apex, Lightning Web Components).
• Salesforce Certifications (Marketing Cloud Consultant/Developer, Data Cloud Consultant).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Own end-to-end solution design for multi-cloud implementations.
• Configure Data Cloud ingestion pipelines and identity resolution.
• Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations and connectors.
• Provide technical leadership to hybrid onshore/offshore teams.
• Review code and optimize for performance, security, and reusability.
