Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Sales Support Specialist in San Jose to assist Sales teams by managing customers and orders.

You will liaise across internal departments, provide product information, and support account maintenance with daily order processing and data entry. The role requires strong communication, client interaction, and problem-solving skills, with prior sales support experience preferred in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• AA degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of direct, related sales support experience.
• Experience in data entry, scheduling production, and order tracking.
• Strong written and spoken communication, including emails and phone.
• Proven ability to interact with clients and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Sales account maintenance with technical and administrative product information.
• Daily clerical tasks: data entry, coordination, quotations, and documents.
• Monitor inventory and follow up ETA with purchasers.
• Liaise between sales, purchasing, production, procurement and logistics.
• Enter and communicate order status to clients, handle returns information.
• Produce daily client reports and provide backup support to team.
