Supermicro’s sales team in San Jose is looking for a dynamic Manager, Sales Support to supervise the sales support staff and assist our Sr. Sales Team in managing customer orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in the technology industry preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Proven experience with data entry, production scheduling, and order tracking.
• Strong professional communication skills across diverse teams, cultures, and geographies.
• Demonstrated customer service experience with direct client interactions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of sales support staff (including directing work and providing training).
• Resolve escalated inquiries from customers unable to be answered by staff.
• Maintain sales accounts and provide technical/administrative product information; handle clerical tasks, quotations, and documents.
• Monitor inventory and follow up on ETA with purchasers.
• Liaise between sales, purchasing, production, procurement, and logistics departments.
