Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to lead the commercial sales efforts for The Redmont Birmingham and The Kelly Birmingham. This high-visibility role will own group and corporate production, strategy, and direction across both properties.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hotel sales with leadership experience, deep knowledge of the Birmingham market, and a track record in multi-property sales and CRM-driven forecasting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hotel sales experience with a record of achieving sales goals.
• Supervisory, leadership, or mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the Birmingham corporate and group market.
• Experience with multi-property sales or multiple market segments preferred.
• Proficiency with CRM/sales systems and forecasting tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality trends and the local market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and production goals.
• Generate new business through prospecting, client relationships, networking, site visits, and community involvement.
• Manage and grow corporate, group, BT, SMERF, and local market accounts.
• Develop strategic account plans and maintain a strong, accurate sales pipeline and forecast.
• Partner with hotel leadership and revenue management on pricing, business mix, and market strategy.
• Lead group sales efforts, including solicitation, presentations, negotiations, and contracting.
• Represent both hotels at industry events and within the Birmingham business community.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and support to the sales team.
