Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality seeks a Complex Sales Coordinator for Birmingham properties to provide sales and catering admin support. You will assist sales managers, handle proposals and contracts, and manage day-to-day office tasks to support revenue goals.

You will answer inquiries, coordinate client communications, and help with tours, pricing questions, and document management. On-site role with potential front desk support; travel between properties may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, sales and catering, events, and business etiquette.
• Proficiency with office and sales systems; basic math skills and deadline orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales coordinator support for two hotels, balancing daily workload between properties.
• Assist sales managers and regional director of sales in all facets of the sales process.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries about facilities and menus, relay information to managers and clients.
• Prepare and process proposals and contracts; distribute memos, resumes, and rooming/amenity requests.
• Maintain filing and contract records; ensure accuracy in correspondence.
• Help resolve questions on pricing, banquet facilities, and seating charts.
• Conduct tours of meeting and ballroom space and meet with clients as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests; follow up during visits to boost satisfaction.
• Attend pre-shift meetings to learn daily guest and hotel expectations.
• Support Front Office with front desk coverage as needed.
• Perform other related duties; travel between properties requires clock-in.
• Help ensure revenue objectives through organized sales and service processes.
