Job summary

Lumen is seeking a sales leader to guide a quota-carrying team to win targeted accounts through strategic pricing, disciplined activities, and executive relationship building. You will steer consultative conversations, coordinate cross-functional proposals, and champion key accounts to drive growth.

In this role, you will set internal selling standards, coach reps to hit aggressive targets, and ensure alignment with Lumen’s market differentiators.

Qualifications

• Define price points and internal selling strategies to win targeted accounts.
• Lead, coach and motivate quota-carrying sales representatives to meet targets.
• Develop executive-level relationships with targeted accounts to position Lumen as a strategic partner.
• Provide consultative guidance to key stakeholders to influence procurement specifications.

Responsibilities

• Define competitive price points and internal selling strategies to win targeted accounts on a financial basis.
• Establish and enforce sales activity requirements for account management personnel.
• Lead, coach, and motivate quota-carrying sales representatives to meet or exceed defined sales targets.
• Cultivate and maintain executive-level relationships to position the company as a strategic partner.
• Provide consultative guidance to key stakeholders to influence procurement specifications for win-win outcomes.
• Develop comprehensive, differentiated responses to structured procurements with clear narrative and key value propositions.
• Coordinate cross-functional and affiliate resources to support proposal development and ongoing customer service.
• Ensure team alignment on roles, responsibilities, and the company’s key market differentiators.
• Champion target accounts internally to drive business growth and financial performance.
