Job summary

Hitachi Energy in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Sales and Tender Manager to grow sales and secure profitable contracts across power systems market segments. You will identify opportunities, manage tender processes, develop proposal strategies, coordinate across departments, and build client relationships to support reliable, safe, and high-performing grid projects.

You will travel as required, with fluency in English; an MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

Candidate must have work authorization to work in the United States.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
7+ years of engineering, sales, and/or proposal experience in engineering, project, or service business.
Experience with High/Medium Voltage power systems, procurement, and negotiation.

Responsibilities

Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities aligned with growth goals.
Manage end-to-end tender process from RFP review to proposal submission.
Develop proposal strategies for profitable contracts and customer outcomes.
Coordinate with legal, technical, finance, engineering, project management, and greenfield teams.
Build and maintain client relationships to understand needs and position solutions.
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats.
Negotiate contract terms following company policies; present forecasts to management.
Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
