Job summary

Zscaler is seeking a Principal Sales Engineer for its Public Sector team. This remote role on the East Coast partners with state and local government and educational entities to architect solutions and guide their Zero Trust transformation.

You will lead, demonstrate, and accelerate technical deals, acting as a trusted advisor with a strong background in security, networking, and AI-enabled sales engineering. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Curiosity and exploration of AI tools to enhance workflows.
• Experience in security operations, firewall or proxy operations, and networking.
• Fast learner with ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly.
• US Citizenship required for SLED alignment.

Responsibilities

• Present and demonstrate the Zscaler platform to articulate value and drive technical alignment.
• Oversee the technical sales process end to end to accelerate deals and ensure success.
• Run Proof of Value engagements from start to finish to validate outcomes.
• Collaborate across internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer success.
• Act as a trusted advisor translating customer outcomes into technical recommendations and guiding their Zero Trust transformation.
