Zscaler is seeking a Principal Specialist Sales Engineer to join our West team in a remote role. Reporting to the Director of Specialists Solutions Architects, you will shape cloud-enabled security solutions and drive a secure AI-assisted future.

You will collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Architecture to deliver high-impact outcomes across the West region. You will lead evaluations, gather needs, and craft tests to prove value for customers while navigating multi‑year sales cycles

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Solutions Architect.
• Proven experience selling network security technologies (SD‑WAN, SWG, proxies, firewalls, SSL/IPsec, VPNs, DLP, end‑user monitoring).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver technical product presentations to prospective customers.
• Gather customer technical requirements to ensure proposed solutions meet goals.
• Lead product evaluations and custom configurations.
• Design evaluation test plans with customers and guide the process to successful outcomes.
