Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer for the Network Service Provider vertical within the Americas Solutions Engineering organization. In this customer-facing role, the Senior Sales Engineer serves as a trusted technical advisor supporting strategic opportunities across a portfolio of Network Service Provider accounts.

Working in close partnership with Account Executives, the Senior Sales Engineer leads technical discovery, qualification, solution development, and customer engagement

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technical sales or solutions engineering.
• Strong background in data centers, networking, cloud infrastructure, and interconnection.
• Experience leading customer discovery and qualification sessions.
• Familiarity with Equinix's global footprint and interconnection portfolio.
• Experience selling recurring revenue and complex enterprise opportunities.
• Ability to engage across multiple personas and stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Position Equinix's Global Digital Infrastructure.
• Lead technical discovery, validation, and qualification activities.
• Own the technical engagement process and win strategy with Account Executives.
• Build technical account plans and participate in reviews.
• Deliver data center solutions and interconnection value selling.
• Provide customer-facing technical documentation and deliverables.
• Stay current on data center technologies and market trends.
